Frequently asked questions
What happens when my annual plan expires?+
After the paid period, your account returns to Free. Cancellation does not delete uploaded ciphertext. Keep an independent export; gateway availability is checked separately. Paid-only settings and new attachments require an active paid plan.
Can I get a refund?+
Email info@pingvaults.com with your purchase email and request details. Refund requests are reviewed individually; eligibility is confirmed before a refund is issued.
What does the Lifetime plan include?+
The Lifetime plan includes the current Pro feature set for a one-time payment. It does not promise every future paid add-on. The current launch price is $149.
Can uploaded ciphertext be deleted?+
Editing creates a new upload, not deletion of old copies. PingVaults does not offer removal of published ciphertext from Arweave, older Irys storage or third-party copies. Only upload material you are comfortable retaining as ciphertext.
Does the Free plan expire?+
The Free plan currently has no scheduled expiration and requires no card. Service features can change, so keep and test the exported metadata and offline decryptor instead of depending on one website.
What is the backup email for?+
It is a second address for your own check-in reminders. It does not add another emergency contact and it does not receive your vault contents.
